Exciting News!!!

I am SO SO excited and happy to announce that I am now a Creative Consultant for A Muse Studio!!  WOO HOO!!  If the name sounds familiar, it is because at one time they sold their products on the retail market.  BUT about 5 years ago, they joined the realm of the consultant based businesses and I am SO happy they did!!

I'll be honest with you all.  I had NO clue they existed as a consultant based business until I saw someone follow me on my Instagram account, named amusestudio.  SO of course I checked out who this new follower was and much to my surprise I saw that they were offering to join their team with NO minimums, the starter kit was $99, AND they offer NEW products every month!!

WHAT THE WHAT???

I couldn't believe my eyes!!!  I LOVED what I saw on their Instagram account, so of course I went over to check out their website amusestudio.com.  HOLY CUTENESS!!!  I browsed through their catalog and instantly fell in love with their stamps, die cuts, buttons (did I say BUTTONS?), ribbons, well let's just say I was in heaven.  This was EXACTLY what I have been looking for in a home based crafting business!  Now to find a consultant to talk to about it.  I was ready to sign up!!

BUT I still had some unfinished business with CTMH.  SO I sat on my decision.  Was this the right move for me?  After being with CTMH for about 10 years, how could I just leave?  Would my customers be ok with the change?  UGH!!  Definitely something I had to REALLY think about before I just dive right in, which is what I wanted to do.....

I talked to my fiance....for HOURS, going over ALL of the pros and cons, then decided that I would take a leap of faith and join A Muse Studio!!  I am SUPER excited about this opportunity!!  I along with my friend Stacey are the only consultants in Nebraska area!!  SO if you have thought about joining a stamping company, NOW is the time to jump on board with A Muse Studio as there is a TON of room for growth with them!!

NOW onto some art from A Muse Studio (since I don't have my kit yet).

Aren't these the CUTEST little guys EVER??  OH MY GOSH!  I can't wait to get my own set and start playing!  You can purchase the Tag Your'e It stamp set only, OR you can purchase both the stamp set AND the dies that coordinate with the stamps!!  I LOVE that most all of their stamp sets have a coordinating die set!!  WOOP WOOP!

These little cuties are from the newly released September collection.  I just LOVE how simple yet sweet they are.  And how about the tree and tag die sets??  LOVE THEM TOO!  LOL

If you too LOVE these sweet characters, you can go to my website amusestudio.com/jen to purchase them!!  But don't wait to long as they are only available in September!

Want to see the whole September Collection?  Check it out HERE.  Prepare to fall in LOVE!!  LOL

Thanks for stopping by!!

I hope this has inspired you to also fall in love with these SUPER CUTE stamps and to check out all of the other AWESOME products that A Muse Studio has to offer!!  OH and BTW... if you would like to join me on this new adventure with A Muse Studio, make sure to check out the opportunity HERE in my Join My Team tab.

CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop - Thin Cuts

Hello and welcome to our CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop!! This week our featured product is Close to my Heart's Thin Cuts.  WOO HOO!!!  I am LOVING the new single Thin Cuts that were released in the 2016 Annual Inspirations Idea book!!  Over the years, I have been using some sort of die cuts in my paper crafting and when CTMH first came out with their Thin Cuts I was ecstatic!!  I may or may not have done a little happy dance when they were introduced!!

First, a little housekeeping.....If you have just joined us you can start here and continue on, as this is a circular hop or if you get lost along the way you can find the complete list at the end of this post.   If you came here from Donna Digby's Blog you are in the right place!!  WOO HOO

Now on to my cards!!

SO....Confession here.  This is the first time I have used the Hello and Thanks Thin Cuts as well as the Brushstrokes  stamp set.  I've had BOTH for a couple of months now, but have been busy playing with all the other new goodies that have been released in both the Annual Inspirations and Holiday Expressions Idea Books!  lol  After using them, I can definitely say with certainty that I WILL be using them more often!

If you take a closer look at the "thanks" thin cut, you will see it is shiny.  After adding it to the card, it looked a bit flat to me.  SO I pulled out my trusty bottle of Liquid Glass and put a very thin layer of it over the word.  MUCH better!!  I feel like the liquid glass makes the word stand out a bit better.

I just couldn't get enough of this stamp set and the Thin Cuts!!  SO I kept playing!!  Colors for this card and the one above are Cotton Candy, Sunset and Canary.  I really like the way these colors go together!  The hearts are from the Heart Thin Cuts and come in 3 different sizes in which you can use both the outline of the heart and the inside of the die.  SO actually you get 6 different hearts from just 3 different sized dies!!  BONUS!  LOL

AND finally another "thanks" card.  Colors for this card are Crystal Blue, Pear, and Gypsy.  I LOVE these 3 colors together as well!!  They just make me happy!

I decided to keep these cards simple.  Maybe I was just being lazy, but I really wanted the sentiments to be the focal point of the card and to show how by simply rolling the Thin Cuts through your die cut machine, they can be added to a card with little embellishment and yet still be super cute!

Thank you for checking out my project. If you would like to purchase our featured product of the week or any additional supplies you can buy them HERE. If you enjoyed my project please comment below as we love feedback! Next on our blog hop is Annette Clark!!  Make sure to check out her amazing work featuring CTMH's thin cuts.

See you on Wednesday September 21st as we will be featuring Jeepers Creepers!!  I have some SUPER CUTE scrapbook pages using this kit to share with you!!

Mojo Monday #464 AND Close to my Heart Color Dare #209

Happy day after Labor Day!!  Hope you all had an AMAZING weekend and were able to take it easy for a few days!!  Today, I am killing two birds with one stone, so to speak.  I really don't like the way that sounds... I wouldn't kill one bird with one stone, let alone two birds with one stone, but I guess it's only a saying!  LOL  This week, I decided to give the Close to my Heart Color Dare weekly challenge a try and figured as long as I was "playing", I might as well combine two challenges into one card.

I have to admit, I am not in love with this card.  I LIKE it, but I'm not in LOVE with it.  Maybe it's because I wouldn't have chosen these colors to go together on my own, but that's why it is called a CHALLENGE I guess!  I really like the wreath, but again, I feel like it is missing something.  OR maybe it's the sentiment inside the wreath.  It feels off center to me.  I DON'T KNOW!!

BUT I don't HATE the card...which is why I am posting it!  LOL  I went to a LOT of trouble cutting out the wreath and adhering all the leaves onto it, SO I might as well use it!  The colors chosen for the CTMH Color Dare remind me of fall, which is why I chose to use it.  I guess the more I look at it, I do like the way it turned out....

ANYHOO The colors in the dare are: Pear, Pomegranate, Sorbet, Black, White Daisy and Gold.  I used the Confetti Embossing folder for the White Daisy background.  The gold strip is Gold Glitter Paper and the wreath is from the Flower Market Cricut Bundle.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Hope this inspires you to "kill two birds with one stone" too!!  Well, don't literally kill two birds with one stone, unless you are talented like that!!  Then go for it if you are!!  LOL

Happy Scrapping and Stamping!!

September SOTM - Blessed Beyond Measure - Blog Hop

Hello!!  Happy September 1st!!  Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  We will be featuring September's Stamp of the Month, "Blessed Beyond Measure".  I just love the sayings in this set!!  If you have come here from Alyson Mayo's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog

This month we have 31 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs!!  This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Ready, Set, GO!!

A little bit about my card.  I volunteered last month to create a project for my Upline's team meeting, using this stamp set.  Little did I know I had signed up for the next team meeting which was only 2 weeks away and my upline needed the supply list a week before the team meeting!  SO I got busy creating and this took NO time at all to come up with!

I used the color palette from the NEW Swan Lake paper pack as inspiration for the colors in this card.  I used Fern, Poppy and Goldrush.  I cut the leaf from the coordinating Cricut Artbooking Cartridge, but cut it 1/4" larger than it calls for.  Then using Poppy, Goldrush and Fern inks, I sponged color onto the leaf, stamped the image with Fern Ink and added liquid glass on top to brighten it up and make it pop!  The "wood grain" was made with CTMH's new Wood Grain embossing folder, then using a rubber brayer, inking over the top with Fern Ink, just to make it stand out a bit.

Don't you just LOVE this saying??  It doesn't even need to be on a "fall" like card!  Makes you sit back and think about not always wanting for more than we have and to be grateful for the things we do have.

OK!!  Now "Hop" on over to Haley Dyer's blog to see her work! Be sure to visit ALL the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the September SOTM is only available until September 30th!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!  Who doesn't love a discount??  LOL

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

I hope this inspires you to try out this technique!  It's SO much fun to do!!  LOL

Happy Scrapping and Stamping!!
