Sprinkles of Life

Sprinkles of Life
Dimensions:
Soft Sky CS - 4 1/4 x 11, scrap for stamping and punching bird
Kraft CS - 4 x 5 1/4, scrap for stamping and punching tree trunk
Whisper White Cs - 3 3/4 x 5 (two, one for card and one for template), scrap for stamping and punching tree top and for die cutting the clouds.

I created a second one using Pear Pizzazz CS for my card base.  You can substitute the Lemon Lime Twist with Pear Pizzazz for your grassy background as well.

Today's project is one we created for my monthly Coffee and a Card and Cocktail and a Card.  Both events are held on the 4th Friday of each month and are just $5 or FREE with a $35 purchase.    It's a fun way to get to know each other and chat about life while we create.  If you are local to the Omaha, NE area and would like to attend, please check out my Meetup.com group to get more information or to sign up!

I used the Sprinkles of Life stamp set along with the coordinating Tree Builder Punch to create this card.  The clouds are from the Up & Away Thinlits dies, which I feel completed the background on my card.  I used the largest oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits to create a template, in order so sponge on the background in Soft Sky and Lemon Lime Twist.  To make the tree top, I sponged Lemon Lime Twist onto Whisper White, then stamped the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist.  I love how I can use the same color to create the leaves on the tree top and the color behind them and it looks like you used two different colors.

When you purchase $35 or more, now through April 30th from my website jen.stampinup.net,  you will receive a little goodie bag from me!!  Use April's Hostess Code 27PCMTVM and you will also receive a thank you gift from me at the end of the month! YAY free stuff!!

Eastern Palace Card - Thinking of You

Eastern Palace Card - Thinking of You

Dimensions:
Dapper Denim CS - 4 1/4 x 11, 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
Very Vanilla Thick CS - 4 x 5 1/4, 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
Tranquil Tide CS - 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
Doily

Hey Guys!!  Happy Friday!!  Hope you all have had a WONDERFUL week so far!  Today's project is yet another card created with the Eastern Palace Suite.  If you can't tell, I am in LOVE with this WHOLE suite!  THIS card is very possibly my favorite one so far.  I just love how the doily from the Delicate Doilies coordinates perfectly with the Eastern Medallion Thinlits Dies.  The sentiment from the Eastern Beauty stamp set would be perfect for a Thinking of You card, Thank You card OR a just because card.  Plus the font is sweet as well.

The Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon is on the retiring list...BOO!!  I just LOVE this ribbon and am sad to see it go.  BUT SU! has it marked down to just $5.60 (regularly $8).  The retiring clearance items are going FAST and are while supplies last, so don't wait too long to put your order in if it is something you have been wanting.

Starting May 1st, Stamping' Up! is offering the Eastern Palace Suite in two different bundles!!  I used the items in the Premier bundle to create the projects in today's post.

FB Live Wine Down Wednesday

FB Live Wine Down Wednesday

Dimensions:
Tranquil Tide CS - 8 1/2 x 10 3/4, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
Dapper Denim CS - 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, 2 x 5
Very Vanilla CS - 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, scrap for stamping, die cutting and punching
Eastern Palace DSP - 5 x 8 1/4, 2 x 4 15/16, 1 3/4 x 5
Score 8 1/2 x 10 3/4 on the landscape side at 5 1/4, 5 1/2 to create the notebook cover.

This is last night's Facebook Live project.  I just LOVE the way it turned out using the GORGEOUS Eastern Palace Suite!!  I added a doily from the Delicate White Doilies pkg and some pearls on the notebook on the right.  It's hard to see in the photo, but I did add some Clear Wink of Stella to the medallion from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies.

My AMAZING upline Marisa Alvarez sent me a decorated, covered notebook a couple of months ago and I have been meaning to purchase some 5x8 notebooks to make one of my own.  SO I finally broke down and ordered a package of them, which arrived just in time yesterday for me to make these for my FB Live, Wine Down Wednesday.  YAY!!!

Starting May 1st, Stamping' Up! is offering the Eastern Palace Suite in two different bundles!!  I used the items in the Premier bundle to create the projects in today's post.

If you would like to join me for Wine Down Wednesday, I go live every Wednesday evening at 7pm CST over on my Facebook Page Jen's Scrappy Pages.  Grab a glass of wine, or favorite beverage of your choice and let's get crafting together!!

Carousel Birthday Watercolor Card

Carousel Birthday Watercolor Card

Dimensions:
Night of Navy CS - 4 1/4 x 11 (score at 4 1/4 for card base)
Very Vanilla Thick CS - 4 x 5 1/4, 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, scrap for stamping
Watercolor Paper - 3 3/4 x 3 3/4, scrap for clouds

Hey Guys!!  Today's project uses the Carousel Birthday and Lift Me Up stamp sets along with the Up & Away Framelits dies.  I just LOVE LOVE LOVE these stamp sets together!!  The Carousel Birthday stamp set is retiring and will be guaranteed available until May 22nd.  After that, it will be available while supplies last.  SO if you love this as much as I do, make sure to get it before it is gone forever!!  The Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away Framelits will be carrying over into the new catalog!!  YAY!!

For the background on my card, I used Watercolor Paper, Lemon Lime Twist and Night of Navy inks.  I just sponged the inks on, using a handmade template, then spritzed it with water and dabbed off the excess water with another sponge.  A piece of paper towel would also work for this.  I stamped on the tents in the background using a second generation ink.  The clouds were inked and spritzed similar to the background, I then brushed on some Clear Wink of Stella to make them shimmer!!  Gotta have my shimmer!!   I hand cut the Ferris Wheel and popped it up using Stampin' Dimensionals and used the dies in the Up  Away Framelits to cut out the little This card was actually pretty simple, in theory, to make.  Just a bit time consuming to cut everything out with the Big Shot.

Smoky Slate CS - 1 1/4 x 4, 5/8 x 1 5/8
A Little Foxy DSP - 1 x 4

Hey Guys!!  Thought I would share one of the cards that we created at our in home card class in April.  This was such a fun card to put together!!  We used the Jar of Love stamp set along with the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies.  The patterned paper is from one of my FAV paper packs A Little Foxy.  I might be a tad sad to see this pack go!  LOVE the bright colors in it.  Smoky Slate Stitched Ribbon was used to anchor the handle of the jar and of course a little bit of Clear Wink of Stella brushed on the fireflies for a touch of shimmer.

Ever since I opened my Eastern Palace bundle, I have been in love with this patterned paper and the NEW In Color Lemon Lime Twist.  SO I pulled out my Eastern Palace DSP and the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies and got busy making myself this little purse.  I added a button from the Classy Designer Buttons, a couple of pearls and a Dapper Denim enamel shape from the 2016-2018 In Color Enamel Shapes.

Birthday Surprise Blog Hop

Birthday Surprise Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Birthday Surprise Blog Hop! Don’t forget to follow the hop to see all the wonderful creations! If you are following along the hop, you've arrived from Kim Lamos' Blog.

Don't forget to hit the "NEXT" button at the bottom to continue going to Elizabeth Jean Thatcher's blog!!

I am the Guest Hopper this week!!  Onto my projects....

Originally I did not create these to go together!  BUT I LOVE how they pair perfectly!

Dimensions:
Dapper Denim CS - 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 (card base), 2 1/4 x 3 1/2
Very Vanilla Thick CS - 4 x 4, 2 3 1/4, scrap for balloons
Eastern Palace DSP - 1 1/4 x 3 1/4, 1 1/4 x 3 1/2, 1 1/4 x 3 3/4

This was my FB Live from last night!!  Directions for the mini purse will be uploaded to my blog/youtube tomorrow (April 21st), so make sure to check back to see how it is made!!  I did not originally come up with the directions for the mini purse, I found the directions and youtube video from a fellow SU! demonstrator Nina Suggs and created mine using the Eastern Palace DSP and Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies.

Hey Guys!  I am SO excited to be part of this blog hop today!!  The theme is Birthday Surprise, so I grabbed out my latest favorite stamp set, Birthday Banners.  I just LOVE this set and the coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch!  This stamp set will be carrying over to the new 2018 SU! catalog!!  YAY!!  SO happy they decided to keep it for another year!

I wanted to use the Eastern Palace DSP with this card to show the versatility of this paper pack.  The BRAND NEW Lemon Lime Twist In Color has quickly won my heart over, especially paired with the Dapper Denim.  SO I decided to think outside the box when it came to playing with the DSP in this pack and I couldn't be more happy with the way it turned out!!  LOVE how bright and cheery this card turned out.  It certainly can be used for both a masculine and feminine birthday card!!
