It does help to know how you get creative and inspires me to think outside of MY box and create differently!

I usually don't have a specific card/sentiment that I start with. I just make cards to make them......lol......cards are my way of being able to play with paper and embellishments and not have to create in a 12x12 size.

The cards that I don't send out, get put into customers bags. They LOVE getting one of my hand made cards in their orders! It's a win, win for all of us. I get to "play" with my stuff and they receive something created with love!Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11525959238121289689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6451477668371842748.post-4769031103964853492011-03-24T14:12:48.888-05:002011-03-24T14:12:48.888-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11525959238121289689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6451477668371842748.post-10828172888651595382011-03-23T18:36:23.761-05:002011-03-23T18:36:23.761-05:00Jen, I love the way you used the brad for the trai...Jen, I love the way you used the brad for the train wheel! For me, if I'm doing my little 3x3 thank you's to my customers I'll have a newer paper packet in mind and thumb through one of the CTMH card books for ideas. But if I'm doing a specific card I'll usually start with the sentiment I want to incorporate. Then kinda work backwards with the "feel" of the card to determine which B&T to use. Then finally play around with which embellishments fit the card best.

Thank you for posting your creations, I love stalking blogs for fresh ideas. I hope this has helped you in some way as you do inspire me...Gretel from Oahunoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6451477668371842748.post-84551129590624630622011-03-23T17:40:11.081-05:002011-03-23T17:40:11.081-05:00Thanks Marci for sharing!! I think I do it backwards though, I need to find a sketch first then pick paper, then stamp set and embellishments. Maybe that is my problem, I am going to try doing it in this order next time I sit down ;). Thank you for making me think about it.Marci Atkinsnoreply@blogger.com
