Mojo Monday Hey Chick - Watercolor Eggs

Pear Pizzazz CS - 4 1/4 x 11, scrap for flower

Whisper White CS - 4 x 5 1/4

Shimmery White CS - 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 (three), scrap for stamping eggs on to color)

Watermelon Wonder CS - 3 1/4 x 3 1/2, scrap for flower

Peekaboo Peach CS - scrap for flower

So Saffron CS - scrap for flower

Aren't the cards the cutest?  If I do say so myself!  LOL  I decided to play along with the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge this week and struggled a bit with it at first.  BUT when I finished the card with the crazy hair chicks on it, I wasn't sure if it was TOO much.  SO I created one using the eggs!  Now I can't decide which one I like best!

For both cards, I colored in the chicks/eggs from the Hey Chick Sale-A-Bration stamp set with an Aqua Painter using Watermelon Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, and Peekaboo Peach.  Of course I had to top it off with some Clear Wink of Stella!!  For the birds, I only used the shimmer on their hair and tail feathers.  The flowers on both cards have shimmer on them as well.  LOVE my sparkle!

Hope this has inspired you to get out your stuff and just play!!  Have fun with it!  As I have said before, this is my therapy, my happy time.  Even if just for a short time, it helps block out any stress going on in my life and allows me to be in the moment, to not think of anything but coloring my images, cutting them out or adhering them to the card.  Just play!!
