8 MORE cards using Everyday Celebration cutting dimensions.....

I am still on a kick of getting things done and using what I have!  These cards were created back before Christmas and I am just now getting them finished with stamping and embellishments.  As I have mentioned a few times over the past several weeks, my upline Shari encourages us to use what we have and by doing so she showed us how to take the cutting dimensions for the Everyday Celebration Card Kit that was a special in the fall and create completely different cards with it.  I chose to use the papers from    Emporium that I had left over along with some Colonial White Textured CS that I purchased and was not using.

So, last night I went to my friend, Val's house to crop with the "girls" and had a BLAST!!  After finishing up the last set of cards I brought out this set and stamped away.  I chose to stick with only 2 stamp sets and make them all Thank You cards.  These cards will go to my mom as she loves to send out cards.  Who knows, maybe I will get one back in the future!  LOL

Onto the cards and the reason you all stopped by!  LOL  For all 8 cards I used Treetops and Thank You.

Supplies used:
Paper: Emporium, Cocoa CS, Colonial White Textured CS
Stamps: Treetops, Thank You
Inks: Cocoa, Sweet Leaf, Garden Green, Cocoa, Vineyard Berry
Embellishments: Sweet Leaf Ribbon, Colonial White Ric Rac, Basic Buttons, Colonial White and Crystal Blue Waxy Flax, White Hemp, Colonial White Grosgrain Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope that I have inspired you to get out your unfinished projects and start working on them!  I feel SO much better now that these cards are complete and can be put to use by someone who will LOVE sending them out!

Happy Scrapping and Stamping!!

How about a card?? Mojo Monday #84

I have not had as much time for creating lately and I have been missing it. So I sat down the other night to play.... I started by finding a sketch on the Mojo Monday Blog. It is an older one from a few weeks back, but I really liked the sketch. Once I found the sketch that I wanted to use, I chose to use a paper that I love, but have a hard time working with. The paper that I chose is from the CTMH paper pack Emporium. I used the colors Twilight, Crystal Blue, Heavenly Blue and White Daisy.

The stamp sets that I used are Ambience, Dainty Thoughts and Say it in Style. The middle flower is from the Dainty Thoughts set. I stamped it on all 3 colors of CS and cut out the largest part in Twilight, middle part in Crystal Blue and the smallest part in Heavenly Blue. There is a pop dot between each layer of flower. The 2 flowers on the sides are actually the same flower as the center just cut out smaller.

The center of each flower is a White Daisy Bigger Brad. The ribbons are White Daisy grosgrain and Heavenly Blue Ribbon Round.

I hope to be able to set aside more time for "playing"......

Thanks for stopping by!!

A couple of pages.....

Every 3rd Friday I have a group of 10 AMAZING women that come to my house to make 4 scrapbook pages and crop till they drop! It is a blast and every month I can't wait for 3rd Friday to come around. This month we used the CTMH papers from the Emporium Level 2 paper pack. I LOVE this paper pack!! I found it to be sooo versitile!!! I love the colors and the patterns too!

If you would like to take a peak at the Emporium papers and Stickease, click here! If you would like to purchase the paper pack or any of the matching accessories, all you need to do is place an order online through my website and it will be shipped directly to you!

I wanted to share the pages that we made this last Friday. I try to keep the pages generic enough so my club girls can use the photos that they want to go on the pages.

Each month I try to show a different embellishment or technique that they can use to enhance their pages, cards or paper projects. This month I let them create with buttons. The buttons that we used on these pages are from the Winter Craft Buttons collection. The buttons are a perfect match for the Emporium papers!!

I chose to leave the center's of my buttons plain because I used soooo many of them on these 2 pages. Sometimes I use waxy flax, hemp or embroidery floss to create a threaded look to the buttons. The Colonial White Ricrac that is wrapped around the photo can be purchased through my website too!!

I do not have a title on these pages yet as I created 2 other pages that have more photos that go with these. The other pages will have a title and journaling to explain why the kids and my mom are in a wheelchair! Who knew a wheelchair could be so entertaining when you don't have to use one.

Supplies for these pages:
Paper: Emporium Level 2 Paper Pack
Colors: Sweet Leaf, Crystal Blue, Buttercup, Colonial White and Cocoa
Embellishments: Colonial White Ricrac, Winter Craft Buttons

I used the CMTH Cherish scrapbook program to create the LO's on these pages. If you ever have a creative block with either your scrapbooking or card making, CTMH offers amazing books to help you oput with that!! Check them out here!! I would be lost without these programs and can't say enough good about them!!!

As soon as I have completed the other pages that we created at club, I will post them too!

I hope that I have inspired you to get out your buttons and go CRAZY!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Meet Suzie Q from InStyle Stamps!

Anyone who knows me knows that I HATE to shop! I know, there must be somthing wrong with me. It is pretty sad when my hubby's clothes take up 3/4 of our closet! The reason I am telling you this is that I thought I was going to have a hard time with little miss Suzie Q because she is carrying more shopping bags than I will bring home in a year. LOL Well, when I found this cute little box at Archiver's last week I knew exactly what I was going to use it for. I thought it would be cute to put Suzie Q on the front of the box and use it to hold receipts in since she is holding shopping bags.

To make Suzie Q, I stamped her 5 times. Once on Cocoa, Buttercup, and Colonial White CS, once on patterned paper and twice on Crystal Blue CS. I then cut out and glued on each of the shopping bags and Suzie Q's top. Everything else was colored in with CTMH markers.

Supplies used to create card:
Stamp: Suzie Q, InStyle Stamps
Paper: My Reflections Emporium paper pack
Embellishments: Hero Arts sparkle flower, American Crafts boutique blanc ribbon, CTMH Clear Inspirations charm
5 1/2 x 7 1/2 box (unsure of company that makes it, but purchased it at Archiver's)

I hope that I have inspired you in some way!!

Thanks for stopping by!
