April Paper Pumpkin Reveal - Part 1

Hey Guys!!  My project for today is the AWESOME April Paper Pumpkin that was inspired by Sarah Douglass, Stamping' Up!'s CEO.  I just LOVE the bright colors with the black background AND the watercolor emboss resist.  This is my FAV PP that I have received so far.  

This is part 1 of 2 videos that show how to put together the card shown for this month's Paper Pumpkin.  Part 2 will show you how to create the other two cards that came in this kit. The video would have been almost an hour long if I had done it all on one video.  These cards were SO much fun to put together and could easily be re-created using supplies that you may already have.

Hey All!!  Today's project uses the Eastern Palace Premier Bundle suite.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this suite!!  It is absolutely GORGEOUS and SO much fun to play with!!  My card uses the Eastern Beauty stamp set, Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies and the Eastern Palace DSP.  I added some Dapper Denim Enamel Shapes, a button from the Classy Designer Buttons, Very Vanilla 1/4" Satin Ribbon and some shimmer from the Clear Wink of Stella shimmer brush.  

The Eastern Palace Suite will be available as an EARLY release from May 1st - May 31st.  There will be two Eastern Palace Bundle options to choose from during this period.  After May 31st, the products will be available to purchase individually.

I'm back!!  Last week, I drove down to Oklahoma to visit my Aunt who has been ill.  What was supposed to be a quick 3 day trip, there and back, turned into an 8 day trip.  My Aunt passed away just a few days after we arrived and instead of driving 7 hours back home, then back again for the funeral, I ended up just staying till after the funeral.  After a couple of days to rest and process the trip, I am back doing what I love!!  It is and always will be therapy for me.  

I created this card using the Birthday Banners stamp set, along with the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies and the Balloon Bouquet punch.  The patterned paper is from the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP Stack.  I just LOVE the patterned papers and colors in this paper pack!!  I used the Clear Wink of Stella to brush on a little shimmer to the balloons.  A card just isn't complete without a little bit of shimmer added!!
