Happy Tuesday All!!  Thanks SO much to those who left a comment on my Eastern Medallion flower cards last week!!  I really enjoyed reading your kind words and am happy that you liked the project!!  The winner to receive all 5 cards is Darlene Boardman!!  I'll be sending out the cards this week!!

Today's card was first created for my Coffee and a Card and my Cocktail and a Card class that I hold in my home each month.  I created it back in March, which used the SAB papers that coordinated with the Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away Thinlits dies.  BUT because that DSP is no longer available, I brought out my Cupcakes & Carousels DSP to remake the card.  I just LOVE the colors and patterns in this paper stack.

In addition to the Up & Away Thinlits dies, I used the Layering Circles Framelits and the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  They are, in my opinion, a must have staple in card making!!  I use them ALL the time!

Foxy Friends

Foxy Friends
Dimensions
Whisper White CS - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, 4 x 5 1/4, 3 1/4 x 3 1/4,
scrap for stamping
Pool Party CS - 4 x 5 1/4, 3 1/4 x 3 1/4
A Little Foxy DSP - 3 x 3

Hey Guys!!  Today's project is this super sweet card that I cased from Pinterest.  Of course, I used different stamps, papers and sentiment, but the concept is the same.  For my card, I used A Little Foxy DSP, Foxy Friends stamp set, Layering Circles Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, and Sunshine Sayings Thinlits.

I love the simplicity of this card.  It is clean, but also has a WOW factor, to me.  I think the little fox from the Foxy Friends is SO adorable and the kitty is pretty darn sweet too!  While it is a simple card, so to speak, I did have to create the frames using the different sized circles for the fox and squares for the kitty.  The stitched frame on both of them adds just a bit of added texture to finish the card off.

Pretty Kitty Watercolor Card

Pretty Kitty Watercolor Card

Dimensions:
Rose Red CS - 4 1/4 x 11 (card base), 3 1/4 x 3 1/4, 3/4 x 2 1/8
Basic Black CS - 4 x 5 1/4, 3 x 3
Whisper White CS - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, 3 3/4 x 5 (inside), 5/8 x 2
Watercolor Paper - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
3 x 3

Hey Guys!!  I thought I would try something different for today's card.  My friend and downline Nicki came over yesterday for a "play" date and she brought with her the Detailed Floral Thinlits dies.  I have not purchased it YET, because it honestly is not my style.  Although I've seen some BEAUTIFUL projects created with the set, it just wasn't on my radar to purchase.  BUT I went ahead and played with it yesterday and came up with today's card.

I used the die cut as a stencil and used my Watercolor Pencils to color in the flowers on some Watercolor Paper.  After I made it, I had ABSOLUTELY no idea what I was going to do with it.  SO I put it up for the night and came back to it this morning.  I ended up running it through the Hexagons Embossing Folder and decided that this sweet little kitty from the Pretty Kitty stamp set NEEDED to go with it!!  I added a doily from the Delicate White Doilies pack along with a couple of circles from the Layering Circles Dies and the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Of course I had to finish off the flowers with a touch of shimmer using the Clear Wink of Stella.

I just LOVE the way it turned out!!  The watercolors blended so beautifully with each other and really softened up to create the background.  This is probably one of my fav cards so far!
