A World of Thanks Heat Embossed Background

A World of Thanks
Heat Embossed Background

Dimensions:
Whisper White CS - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, 3 3/4 x 5, 3 1/4 x 3 1/4, 5/8 x 5 1/2
Flirty Flamingo CS - 4 x 5 1/4, 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, 1 x 5 1/2

I just LOVE how gorgeous this card turned out using Whisper White CS, Whisper White Craft Ink and White embossing powder.  I used A World of Thanks and Thankful Thoughts stamp sets with Flirty Flamingo cardstock and ink.  The Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon just completes the look, not to mention the scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits.

Sparkle and Seaside embossing folders are out of stock.

Don't forget that TODAY is the LAST day for Sale-A-Bration!!  Stamping' Up! added the 2016-2018 In Color card stock combo as one of the FREE items you can earn when you spend $50 during SAB.  SO I thought I would create these cards in each of the In Color cardstock, ink and coordinating rushed ribbon.

FB Live Cool Treats Gift Card Holder

FB Live Cool Treats Gift Card Holder
Dimensions:
Whisper White CS - 4 x 10, 4 x 3 3/4, 2 1/4 x 5, 1 1/4 x 4
1/2 x 4 1/4, scrap for stamping and die cutting
Kraft CS - 2 x 4
Cool Treats DSP - 2 1/4 x 4

Isn't this gift card holder just the cutest?  This was my project for my Wine Down Wednesday FB Live last night.  The original idea is NOT mine, but came from a Splitcoaststampers video tutorial.  I knew as soon as I saw it that I needed to re-create it!!

I used the Cool Treats stamp set, Frozen Treats Framelits Dies and the Tasty Treats DSP (which is FREE during Sale-A-Bration till March 31st), along with some Kraft CS.  Once you get it down, it's pretty darn simple to put together and pretty darn clever, if I do say so myself.  I LOVE how the gift card comes up and out of the pouch when you open the card.  I left the inside blank to write a greeting.  BUT you can also stamp something inside as well AND add your greeting.

You're Sublime - Follow Your Heart

You're Sublime - Follow Your Heart
Dimensions:
Whisper White CS
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (card base), 4 x 5 1/4, 3 x 3
scrap for clouds, scrap for templates

Today's project is my FIRST attempt at creating a sponged background using sponge daubers with Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz Inks.  I created a template to create the "grass" and the sky, plus another template to create the clouds in the background using the same Soft Sky ink as I did for the sky.

The cute little camper is in the You're Sublime stamp set and the clouds are from the Up & Away Thinlits Dies.  I used an Aqua Painter to color in the camper using So Saffron and Watermelon Wonder inks.  The outline of the camper was colored in using the Basic Black Watercolor Pencil and a Blender Pen.  I also used the Blender Pen along with Soft Sky ink to color in the windows on the camper and the camper's door.  To complete the camper, I added a bit of shimmer with the Clear Wink of Stella.

Bella & Friends - Thank You Card

Bella & Friends - Thank You Card

Dimensions:
Smoky Slate CS - 4 1/4 x 11, 3 x 3, 1 1/2 x 5
Pool Party CS - 4 x 5 1/4, 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
Whisper White CS - 2 3/4 x 2 3/4
A Little Foxy DSP - 3 7/8 x 4 1/8

I just can't get enough of the Bella & Friends stamp set.  She is SO dang cute!!  I used the A Little Foxy DSP, some Smoky Slate Stitched Ribbon and a little Wink of Stella to finish off the card.  The collar and heart were colored in using a Blender Pen along with Pool Party and Calypso Coral inks.

To create the shimmer on the Pool Party scalloped circle, I just brushed on my Clear Wink of Stella.  Kind of looks like Glimmer Paper, but more shimmery, than glittery!  LOL  The Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Circles Framelits work SO perfectly together.  It's like they were made for each other!  Crazy!  lol

Pun Intended Square Card

Pun Intended Square Card

Dimensions:
Basic Black CS - 4 1/4 x 8 1/2, 2 3/4 x 2 3/4
Delightful Dijon CS - 4 x 4, 3 x 3 (scalloped square), scrap to stamp and cut out bee
Urban Underground DSP - 3 3/4 x 3 3/4
Whisper White CS - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2

How does one follow up the GORGEOUS quilted cards from yesterday??  With a simple, yet sweet bee card!  LOL  I really like the way this turned out and I was not a huge fan of the Urban Underground DSP....till now!  As long as I am admitting things, I really didn't love the Delightful Dijon paper either.  It's too mustard-y for my liking.  HOWEVER the two together...I LOVE!!

This is a basic 4 1/4" square card.  I used the Layering Squares Framelits for the scalloped square and the Basic Black square on top.  Of course, I had to use the square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I just love the finished edge it gives to the square and the way it frames in the sentiment.

This SUPER CUTE bee stamp is in the Pun Intended stamp set, that is available at a discount to HOSTS when you host a party!  You can have a party for one, by placing a $150 all by yourself.  OR you can host a party on FB, in your home or in mine if you are local.  Although, I wouldn't be opposed to flying out to, like, say Florida or Arizona to party.... just saying!  LOL

During Sale-A-Bration, when your party reaches $250, you get an ADDITIONAL $25 in Host Rewards, which gives you a total of $50 in Host Rewards!  You only have till March 31st to take advantage of this offer though, SO if you are thinking about it, contact me ASAP and let's talk!!

If you were unable to make it to my Facebook Live last night, that's OK!!  I have the video up and ready to go!  It LOOKS like it is a lengthy video, but the actual project didn't take too long.  Towards the end of it, it's just chatter!  lol

I have tried to provide the dimensions for each of the cards above.  The first card is the one that we created on FB Live.  I will try to create a video on how to create the star quilts and post it here when it is finished.  There are LOTS of pieces for those two cards!  LOL

I used the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and Sunshine Wishes Dies on each of the cards.  To give it a "quilted" look, I used the Hexagons Embossing Folder.  LOVE how it gives a puffy quilted look!!  The paper is from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack.  LOVE LOVE LOVE these papers!!  Especially the tiny flowers print!!  Perfect for a "quilted" look.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!!  I'd be happy to help!

March Paper Pumpkin Alternate Project - Card

March Paper Pumpkin Alternate Project

Dimensions:
Very Vanilla CS - 4 1/4 x 11 (score at 4 1/4), 3 3/4 x 3 3/4, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 (circle)
Peekaboo Peach CS - 4 x 4
Sweet Sugarplum CS - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 (scalloped circle)

These were SUPER fun cards to create with the March Paper Pumpkin Kit, as an alternative project.  I just LOVE how the bunny ended up looking like a lion/kitty when I left off the bunny ears and used the mouth with the heart shaped nose.  The scalloped circle ended up looking like a lion's mane.

I used the large bunny ears as petals and the Hexagons Embossing folder made it look like it was quilted.  The first one I created was the Peekaboo Peach card, but when I was creating the Sweet Sugarplum card, I thought I would see what embossing it would look like and ended up LOVING it!!

Jar of Love Shaker Card

Jar of Love Shaker Card

Dimensions:
Thick Whisper White CS - 4 1/4 x 8 1/2, 3 x 8 1/2 (two for squares), scrap for fish
So Saffron CS - 3 1/4 square
Pool Party CS - 2 1/2 square
So Saffron DSP - 4 1/4 square
Pool Party DSP - 4 x 4 square
Window Sheet - 2 3/8 square

This is my very FIRST shaker card!!  YAY ME!!  For some reason, I have been afraid to make one of these, but decided to go ahead and take the plunge and make one!!  Now that I have made one, I will be making LOTS more!  lol

I just love the little fishes from the Jar of Love stamp set and Everyday Jars Framelits.  They are SO cute!  Lately, I just can't get enough of the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack.  I used So Saffron and Pool Party DSP for this card.  I created the frame by using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and the Layering Squares Framelits Dies.  To see how I created the frame for my shaker card, make sure to watch the video!!  It's a bit long, BUT I promise it will be well worth the time it takes to watch it!

FB Live Pretty Kitty Purse

FB Live Pretty Kitty Purse

Dimensions:
Whisper White CS - 7 x 10
Blushing Bride CS - 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
Shimmery White CS - 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
Subtles Designer Series Paper, Blushing Bride - 2 1/2 x 5 1/2, 2 1/2 x 2 3/4

For complete instructions on how to create this purse using the Gift Bag Punch Board, please watch the video below.

Isn't this just the sweetest little purse?  Of course, I think that the little kitty from the Pretty Kitty stamp set makes it that much cuter!!  I ran across a tutorial on Pinterest to create this bag, but it was for a backpack.  SO I added some Blushing Bride Stitched Satin Ribbon at the top to create a little purse, instead of making it into a backpack (which was cute too!).

Did you know that Stampin' Up! carries this sweet little print in their Designer Series Paper Stacks?  I just LOVE these paper stacks and LOVE that they come in ALL of the colors that SU! has.  The are SO versatile and the prints are perfect for cards and 3D projects too.

I used the Gift Bag Punch Board to create this little cutie!!  When I was searching Pinterest for inspiration, I searched specifically for something that used the Gift Bag Punch Board, but that used it in a different way from how it was created to be used.  I cannot remember where I found the tutorial for the original backpack, but if you search Pinterest, I am sure you will find it!!

Avant Garden - Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge 488

Avant - Garden
Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge 488

Dimensions:
Crumb Cake CS - 4 1/4 x 11 (score at 5 1/2)
Whisper White CS - 4 x 5 1/4, 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 (large oval), 1 1/2 x 4 3/4 (tear top and bottom of strip)
Peekaboo Peach CS - 3 3/4 x 5
Pool Party CS - 3 x 4 (large scalloped oval)

Hey Guys!!  Today's project is the simple, yet sweet card that I created using the Avant - Garden stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and is FREE with a $50 purchase only till March 31st.  SO if you want it, you only have a couple of weeks left to get it!!

I really like the soft colors of the Peekaboo Peach, Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Whisper White together.  Originally, I chose these colors for this card because I was going to use the Cool Treats DSP, but decided to just use cardstock instead of the DSP.  The Clear Wink of Stella gave a soft shimmer to the flower and completed the card!!

The Falling Petals embossing folder is quickly becoming one my fav folders to use for my cards.  I just love the added texture it gives.  Of course the Layering Ovals Framelits are also one of my favs to use on my cards and was PERFECT for this card sketch, even though the sketch was shown with a rectangle for the image piece.
