Bella & Friends

Bella & Friends

Dimensions:
Pool Party CS - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (score at 4 1/4), 1 x 5 1/2, 3 x 4 (scalloped oval)
Whisper White CS - 4 x 5 1/4, 5/8 x 5 1/2
Shimmery White CS - 3 x 4 (oval for image)

Oh my goodness!!  I just LOVE how stinking sweet Bella is from the Bella & Friends stamp set!!  I KNOW that Bella is supposed to be a "girl", BUT when I saw this image, all I could think was the "she" looked like a he!  lol  SO I went with Pool Party for this card.  It certainly could be changed to a soft pink, like Blushing Bride and totally change the look!

I used Shimmery White CS to stamp my image on.  Not only is it shimmery, but it is also GREAT to color on using the Aqua Painters!  I chose Mint Macaron for the turtle.  For the spots and rim of his shell, I applied more ink to make it darker.  The rest of his body, I just used less ink on the Aqua Painter.  I really like how the two tones came out on him!

The Softly Falling Embossing folder can be used for more than just snow!  WHAT??!!  That's crazy talk!  I know!  LOL  I like how it gives just a bit of dimension, but allows me to stamp at the top but has depth at the bottom.  OH and ALWAYS add a bit of shimmer to your project!  Clear Wink of Stella adds just the PERFECT amount of sparkle to your stamped images.  It's like they come alive with a touch of glimmer!

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

I hope this inspires you to just take some time to create something fun!!  This is therapy.  Creating is WAY more than just playing with paper and ink.  It is throwing yourself into a project and letting life's stressors just melt away in the background, if only for the moment.  Life is short.  Create something!

Happy Stampin' Up!

Jen
