It has been a while since I have played with any of the sketch challenges lately. So, I sat down this afternoon and checked out the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge and Color Me Monday on Jeanette Lynton's blog. Heart 2 Heart Challenges and Papercraft Star are also holding challenges and my card fit in to BOTH of those as well. Heart 2 Heart Challenges is having an embossing challenge while Papercraft Star is accepting Thank You submissions. So what the heck? I entered this little owl in the 3 that I could!
I REALLY liked the sketch and loved the colors that Jeanette picked for this week. I have yet to get out all of the NEW colors that were introduced in the Autumn/Winter 2010 Idea Book and thought it would be fun to play with them.
If you would like to play along with the sketch challenge, click on the Mojo Monday banner on my sideline. The colors for the Color Me Monday were Gypsy, Pear, Lagoon and Cotton Candy. I ended up using just the Pear and Lagoon on my card, so may end up playing a bit more with the other colors in the challenge.
Supplies used:
Paper: ALL CARDSTOCK Lagoon, Pear, Black and White Daisy (no wonder it is so heavy!)
Stamps: Say it in Style, Hot Diggity
Inks: Black, Pear and Lagoon
Embellishments: Lagoon Sparkles (blue and green sparkles assortment) Black Ribbon, Lagoon Mini Medley Accents and Black Hemp.
Tools: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and Nestabilities, 3/4 Circle SU! Punch
Thanks for stopping by!!
Hope this has inspired you to play along with some of the challenges out there! It is a lot of fun and helps stretch your creativity a bit!
Happy Scrapping and Stamping!

Wishes 20 Card Workshop
So, I created these cards a while back and just now got around to finishing them. I LOVED the way that they turned out and thought I would offer this as a workshop! If you would like to attend the workshop, check out my Calendar on my website for the date and times offered!
For those who are unable to attend the workshop, you can purchase the Wishes Card Program and create your own 20 cards. I will give a list of all supplies used at the end of this post! I will warn you, there are quite a few stamp sets used as I originally created these for my own use.....sorry! lol BUT you could easily trim it down to just a couple of sets.....

May Swap Circle Card
I totally forgot to share my swap card for May with you all! I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. I of course waited till the last 2 days before it was due to start working on it, so could have been even cuter if I had given myself a bit more time! OH WELL.....when will I learn??
It is hard to tell from the above photo, but I pop dotted the circle AND the frog. There is Liquid Glass on his eyes, spots on his legs and on the bee's wings. OH and for those who are not too sure yet about the circle cards....I used the circle card template from the Wishes CD that is included with the Wishes book. Which means that I printed a template, traced the template on 11 cards AND hand cut each one as I do not have a circle cutter that is 4 1/2 inches. In an effort to cover up any irregularities in my cutting, I distressed the edges with CTMH's Edge Distresser.
All supplies are CTMH:
Paper: Splendor with coordinating CS
Stamps: Hot Diggity, Intrinsic Backgrounds and Circle Around
Embellishments: Liquid Glass and Colonial White Crocheted Ribbon
Tools: CTMH Wishes CD for circle card Template and Nestabilities Circles.
Thanks for stopping by!!
Hope that this has inspired you to get out your Liquid Glass and use it to accent your pages and cards! This stuff is AWESOME and can be used for SO many different elements!
HAPPY SCRAPPING AND STAMPING!!
