EMS Sketch Challenge #14.....

As I was browsing CTMH consultant's blogs one day I ran across Cheryl Even's blog and her AWESOME LO sketches.  This is the 2nd sketch that I have tried.....the first one is still waiting on some finishing touches.  I really like the way this turned out and thought I would share it!

This LO calls for 3 1/2 x 5 pictures, for the most part.  Remember when ALL we had to print was this size?  I thought, SWEET, this is a PERFECT chance to use these pics.  The photos are actually from 1998, but I had a brain fart and put 1997 cuz I was looking at similar pics from the year before.  OH WELL....

Here is the sketch that I followed.  If you like it and want to see her other sketches, check out Cheryl's blog.

June Scrapbook Group Pages-Splendor

So, for those who are attending group this month, these are the 6 pages that you will be creating!!  I am SO excited for this month for a couple of reasons......1) Splendor is the CUTEST paper pack ever!  OK SO I may have said that about a few other CTMH paper packs, but this one is right up there with the cutest EVER!!  2) We will be creating a 2 page LO that has 15 photos on it!!  YEP 15 photos!  It is from the Cherish Book called Fab 15.

For those who are NOT attending group this month, WHY NOT??  I understand if you are a group member and you have things that come up that prevent you from attending.....BUT for those who are NOT group members.....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??

The last 2 pages have the matching Stickease on them, but they are not included in the June kit.  I had to choose, Pizzazz Dimensional Elements, OR Stickease......so I chose the Dimensional Elements.  TOO MUCH FUN!!

Group is $20 a month and you create 6 scrapbook pages EACH AND EVERY MONTH!!  So, if you join group for 10 months, you have 60 scrapbook pages to put into albums!!  OR maybe you don't want to commit to a group.....THAT'S OK.....attend as a guest when you can!

There are SO many benefits to attending a monthly scrapbook group......1) You get a FREE Idea Book for as long as you attend group.  2)  You create 6 pages EACH month.  3)  You get a night out with the girls each month.  4) You learn a new technique or use a new product that will help you grow in your scrapbooking and papercrafting.   What more could you want??  LOL  Don't answer that!

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope that I have inspire you to want to check out my monthly scrapbook group!!  We have a TON of fun AND we get work done too......  If you don't live close by...that's ok too!  You can still create pages using the Splendor Papers, just by ordering them from my website OR from your favorite CTMH consultant!

Supplies used:
Papers: Splendor
Stamps used: Summer Wishes, Field Trip Alphabet, Friendship Alphabet
Inks: Goldrush, Topiary, Moonstruck and Chocolate
Embellishments: Pizzazz Dimensional Elements, My Reflections Splendor Stickease
Tools: Cherish

May Swap Circle Card

I totally forgot to share my swap card for May with you all!  I was pretty pleased with how it turned out.  I of course waited till the last 2 days before it was due to start working on it, so could have been even cuter if I had given myself a bit more time!  OH WELL.....when will I learn??

It is hard to tell from the above photo, but I pop dotted the circle AND the frog.  There is Liquid Glass on his eyes, spots on his legs and on the bee's wings.  OH and for those who are not too sure yet about the circle cards....I used the circle card template from the Wishes CD that is included with the Wishes book.  Which means that I printed a template, traced the template on 11 cards AND hand cut each one as I do not have a circle cutter that is 4 1/2 inches.  In an effort to cover up any irregularities in my cutting, I distressed the edges with CTMH's Edge Distresser.

I have to admit that while cutting out 11 frogs, 2 of them ended up with 1 less toe on one foot....OOPS!!

All supplies are CTMH:
Paper: Splendor with coordinating CS
Stamps: Hot Diggity, Intrinsic Backgrounds and Circle Around
Embellishments: Liquid Glass and Colonial White Crocheted Ribbon
Tools: CTMH Wishes CD for circle card Template and Nestabilities Circles.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Hope that this has inspired you to get out your Liquid Glass and use it to accent your pages and cards!  This stuff is AWESOME and can be used for SO many different elements!

HAPPY SCRAPPING AND STAMPING!!

CTMH now has CLEAR Cards!!!

These are SO stinkin' cool, I can't hardly stand it!!  The cards come in a pack of 8.  You get 4 scalloped circle cards and 4 square cards along with 8 clear envelopes.  All this for just $8.95!!!  Check them out this weekend on my website in the BRAND SPANKIN' NEW Summer Idea Book!!

There are so many possibilities with these cards!  I have only just begun.....

Inside of the card.....

While I would like to take full credit for this card, I can't!  CTMH provided consultants with instructions on creating a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card that used these papers and stamp set.  I scraplifted the idea and shrunk it and created one for the clear card.  The original looks like this......  If you live in the area and would like to create the card below.....give me a call and we can schedule a home party for you and your friends!!

I loved that I could follow the same card pattern for this card and just shrink the papers a bit to fit the clear card.  The clear card turned out so cute and much more dimensional looking too!

Supplies used for the cards above:

All products are CTMH!!

Paper: Splendor
Stamps: Over the Rainbow
Embellishments: Colonial White buttons
Inks: Desert Sand, Autumn Terracotta and Crystal Blue
Clear Cards are available NOW in the Summer Idea Book!!

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope that I have inspired you to try the clear cards!!  They are so fun and easy to create with!  Imagine receiving one of these in the mail......

Stay tuned for another clear card AND a tutorial on how you can emboss on paper flowers!!

Happy Stampin' and Scrappin'!!
